  • While We're Distracted by Michael Jackson

The Senate this week struck down a bill written by Congressman Ron Paul that would allow Congress to audit the Federal Reserve. While it's also come to light this week, the government and the Fed were behind the bubbles that have led us all into economic recession, the Obama administration is seeking to hand the Federal Reserve complete dictatorial powers of our economy. Why would Obama want to give that kind of power to a privately owned, unregulated, and obviously non transparent entity such as the Federal Reserve when they are the direct cause of the econmic collapse we are facing as a nation? Who is the Federal Reserve anyway? Since they will control the entire economy, and have more power than Congress if our President is successful maybe we should all know, don't you think?

    Interesting yet alarming facts...
** having some problems with the links, I'm working them out and should be fixed shortly**
Please pay special attn to the statement below that should give you a clue what the elite bankers who we fund with our bailout money think of you. I'll mark it with **

The Federal Reserve is Privately Owned (fixing link)
How did it happen? After previous attempts to push the Federal Reserve Act through Congress, a "group of bankers" (they were members of the Round Table Group, which changed its name in 1920 to: THE COUNCIL ON FOREIGN RELATIONS) funded and staffed Woodrow Wilson's campaign for President. He had committed to sign this act. In 1913, Nelson Aldrich, a Senator, and the maternal grandfather to the Rockefellers, pushed the Federal Reserve Act through Congress just before Christmas when much of Congress was on vacation (Reference 3, 4, 5). When elected, Wilson passed the Federal Reserve Act. Later, Wilson remorsefully replied (referring to the FED), "I have unwittingly ruined my country"

His statement was not out of "remorse" - it was to avoid accountability, the man was a college professor with a PHD, he knew exactly what he was doing. Even if it had been "unwitting" He certainly made no effort to undue his destructive actions during his remaining 7 years in office, instead he continued passing the Round Tables agendas, a few of which were:

The Revenue Act of 1913 (income tax)
    Federal Reserve Act of 1913
(Out of gratitude for his cooperation, Wilson appeared on the now-out of print (but still technically legal tender) $100,000 bill The bill was used only to transfer money between Federal Reserve banks)
The "Smith Lever" act of 1914
Federal Farm Loan Act of 1916
National Park Service Act of 1916
    Jones Act of 1917
    Espionage Act of 1917
    Sedition Act of 1918
Created the League of Nations, which became the United Nations
Created "14 points" which was the foundation for creating the "European Union", which created the groundwork for "The New World Order"
(side bar** I know that many of you scoff at the "New World Order" but President Obama doesn't, in fact he talks about the necessity for it, as did Bush and Bush Sr and Clinton. Henry Kissinger said the Obama was the candidate to "usher" the New World Order in)

The Federal Reserve: Unconstitutional Money Regulation
In 1913, before the Senate Banking and Currency Committee, Mr. Alexander stated: "But the whole scheme of a Federal Reserve Bank with its commercial-paper basis is an impractical, cumbersome machinery, is simply a cover, to find a way to secure the privilege of issuing money and to evade payment of as much tax upon circulation as possible, and then control the issue and maintain, instead of reduce, interest rates. It is a system that, if inaugurated, will prove to the advantage of the few and the detriment of the people of the United States. It will mean continued shortage of actual money and further extension of credits; for when there is a lack of real money people have to borrow credit to their cost."

***The Federal Reserve Is A privately Owned Corporation
Rothschild, a London Banker, wrote a letter saying "It (Central Bank ) gives the National Bank almost complete control of national finance. The few who understand the system will either be so interested in its profits, or so dependent on its favours, that there will be no opposition from that class... The great body of the people, (that would be you and me) mentally incapable of comprehending, will bear its burden without complaint, and perhaps without even suspecting that the system is inimical (contrary) to their interests." [The bankers created the legislation for the FED]***

    The Way It Is
The Federal Reserve was illegally established, in 1913, by corrupt legislators in sufficient numbers to sneak the legislation through just hours before Christmas when the honest legislators who would have blocked it were home for the holidays (folks traveled by horse and buggy and trains back then). The details of that are not sufficiently important to this presentation to merit their lengthy disclosure here. Suffice it to say that it was a deliberate move designed to give the organization total control of the United States and its vast assets.

With the Fed operating almost in complete secrecy, more than 2 trillion dollars were lent by this institution under Obama's watch this year, but it will not reveal to whom it was lent. I'll give you one guess who's money they are lending. True it is, that while that money may have not been directly in your wallet when it was created, it will surely make it's way out of your wallet when it comes time to pay it back.

There's got to be a way for us to get rid of that cancer on American soil...

  • ShamelesslyRed

@PreciousOnyx - yeah...wake the nation up to who the Fed is. Few people have any clue that it is a private banking establishment / cartel run by less than 50 men

  • PreciousOnyx

@ShamelesslyRed - I've noticed that "The Creature from Jekyll Island" keeps having resurging popularity. We'll wake the people up- one person at a time if we have to.

  • radicalramblings

@PreciousOnyx - Speaking of Jekyll Island... did you see this interesting bit of symbolic revenge?  LOL... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O79WXAM6Q7g

I thought the Federal Reserve was part of the government. Thanks to your info it's just another private corporation blended into the government. But why the hell they take out a chunk of my check every payday? For what benefit? For the rich? Yes. I may add. Woodrow Wilson wasn't a psychic but he knew he played with fire and everyone in this country is paying the consequences of his greed. Isn't that Amerika wonderbar? About Ron Paul, he didn't give up on trying to eliminate the Federal Reserve Bank even if it's in his agenda, but who's gonna support him? I mean, after all these rumors about his ties with hate groups, who's gonna be on his side? He's definately a one man gang.

  • xplodinglastbullet

Revolution is the only answer to this illegal, unconstitutional act. To war ladies and gentlemen. There is no other option.

  • dikdoktor

This is insane. I'm not even American and I'm pissed off after reading this!!! More people need to see and hear about this before anything will be done. Believe it or not, I am -- at a loss for words

  • firetyger

The American people need to wake up and start caring where their hard earned dollars are going...

  • ShamelesslyRed

@angryflower1 - Ron Paul has more than 250 sponsors in Congress for this bill, but the Senate struck it down  on  a rule 16 technicality. Ironic it is, if you knly knew how many times democrats and republicans alike violate the same rule. The Fed doesn't want to be audited. IT has much to hide, and in a time of stimulus after stimulus, especially when Obama advocates turning over our complete monetary/banking systems over to the Fed, then it doens't serve their political/ power agenda's to have them audited. They have NEVER been audited

  • AnamcharaConcepts

First, I'm sick of all the MJ crap every time I turn around. I'm sorry that he's gone but get over it already. *sigh*

Now, on to the real issue at hand. Danni and I have been delving into this very subject off and on for quite some time now. The more we discover, the more afraid and furious we become. The worst part about all this though, is that it won't end. The American people, as a whole, are ignorant sheeple who blindly go along with whatever happens. They care only about their little corner of the world, and yet fail to understand they are part of this country, and thus have a voice that needs to be heard. I have spoken with many people about this and the responses I receive are ones of indifference. The "Oh well, what can we do about it now?" attitude runs rampant, and that is one reason why things will only get worse. Learning that this bill was rejected infuriates me. Why more people aren't up in arms is beyond me.
  • SirNickDon

Ron Paul is right.  I can't understand why anyone would oppose that bill.

  • PunkDiva

Honestly, I think the treatment by Rep. Paul by the media is the clearest example of the bias in the media (Chris Matthews' magical tingling leg when Obama speaks notwithstanding). Can you only imagine what the country would be like today if Paul had been the rep candidate against Obama?

  • brokenbindings2

Chiming in here...actually windstormstrike might have hit it on the head....if you look at the conspiracy theories about our government (ie, who gets elected and who gets what power) the setup to keep a small group in power has been watched and documented for some time.  Sadly, I do not expect that to change either.....

  • iStephanieMarie

The news story I heard this week that got my blood boiling was when I heard that Obama is giving Italian students one year college scholarships to come to America because they were victims to the earthquake in Italy. Completely pointless and unnecessary!!

    Where was my college scholarship?

This post only clearly states why politicians like Ron Paul need to exist. The media is destroying our country!

  • ShamelesslyRed

@iStephanieMarie - the media is only aiding and abetting the destruction of our nation. We are the Resistance. Remember that!

On another note, I always appreciate your unexpected drop in's. Your such a welcome face, and a another personal push to keep blogging. Thank you

  • eh_rect

    RON PAUL FOR PRESIDENT!!!!!

  • longtimelurker

Well imagine that, the ONE THING that Obama doesn't want complete control over.  Can we say, pay back

  • MutantChameleon

@ShamelesslyRed - Thank you for posting this. I knew I subscribed to you with good judgment.

Back before Aaron Russo died, I found out about all of this going on and eventually found his "America: Freedom to Fascism." That summed it up into a nice media package, in my opinion. It's a shame The Big Five make it difficult for similar media to be disseminated.

Anyway, I had a question on a related matter.

It appears that as time has gone by, indignation felt towards these issues has gone more mainstream, especially recently. Could it be that I've personally been too caught up in all of this? Is it my own belief that this semi-movement, whatever the hell it is, is gaining momentum?

Perhaps my perception is skewed, but I'd like to know what you
think. Are the scales tipping in our favor? Is there some substance to
the idea that we may be ready for a liberating revolution - one that
    may even be bloodless?

  • ShamelesslyRed

@MutantChameleon - A bloodless revolution. Well, as wonderful as that would be, and something that I still hope for, history tells me that the possibility of it is small, or nil. I beleive that if we, in large masses would start peacefully protesting...often, do acts of peaceful civil disobedience, consistently sending the same message to our elected representatives, then yes---we have a chance to turn this around. MLK successfully turned a corner for this nation, by just leading the way, by participating in these very things. He was persistant, and passionate and stood for what he beleived in. We, need the same fire to move forward, in hope and conviction. There won't be a grand awakening of the nation to what's really happening until people step forward everday to stand against globalization and the NWO. Just this morning, I was listening to news coverage on Obama's meeting with the Pope. Among things that concern the Pope : "globalization and the furhter divide it will create between the elite and the poor". There it is, yet people are still in denial...but many more are getting it all the time. When Americans understand even a hint, that the goal is dissolving the soverignty of our nation, to make us the North American Union, like the European Union, the Asian Union, etc, with the end game of global goverence--a one world government--then Americans will stand up and fight. No doubt about that. (see the post next--United We Fall)

  • animecrazedfool

@xplodinglastbullet - About time. I've been thinking that there needs to be another revolution. Look at how many other countries have had, history is telling us that we will have another. I suspect it is soon.

  • xplodinglastbullet

@animecrazedfool - A the moment, it is the only option. Too many citizens are too complacent with the government and have allowed some of their freedoms to be taken for the sake of safety. These same people are too concerned with earning money to be worried about what their government does. Revolution is the only way to reverse this course of government expansion. It's the only way they'll pay attention. And we don't stop when they say "sorry. we'll listen now". We go all the way and remove the seat of power. Every last person must go.

  • animecrazedfool

@xplodinglastbullet - Good luck trying to execute it though.

  • xplodinglastbullet

@animecrazedfool - Oh, it won't be executed any time soon. The people simply aren't ready and wouldn't follow. Give it a few more years and more government expansion. More policies created to "protect" the people while stripping away more of their rights. There will be a point where the people say no and the government does it anyway. That is the opportunity. Until then, the only thing us others can do is sit back and let this stuff happen. Keep to the current law and prepare for the worse.

  • animecrazedfool

@xplodinglastbullet - That sucks, I want to be part of it.
