  • Mad as Hell

In light of the fact that the Senate has just blocked a bill written by Ron Paul to audit the Federal Reserve, coincidentally just as news of another round of stimulus is going to be leveled on the backs of the American taxpayer, and our children--and their children, I'm toasting to the common sense of the average patriot. Meet "Bubba", a friend and fellow vlogger. He, like ProvokingThought, radicalramblings, MyFreedomWings, saturnnights, myself and many other bloggers spend all kinds of time trying to wake the rest of you up to what's happening to our country. Yet, it seems to be useless much of the time.
For all of you who still don't understand that our economy is being tanked purposely, then I suggest it's high time that you get a grip, do some serious connecting of the dots, find out who the Federal Reserve is, and ask why is it that they are protected from audit. Seems odd don't you think, since the average American and business is subject to audit at whim whenever the IRS thinks it's necessary. Why is the American public mandated to staying in the dark concerning the use of your own money, when you elected a President who promised transparency? Why does that same President want to give total control of our monetary system to the Fed, yet auditing them is a supreme no-no? Doesn't make you wonder? Do you even care?
We have progressed from generations who marked history with warnings given to us that government can a be a wicked thing...too much power corrupts. Yet while the government is seizing more power, creating more czars, spending more money in complete secrecy--that you will have to foot the bill for--why are you so trusting? Are you really that gullible? When will you learn, that they don't care about you?

No, the average Amerikan doesn't care.  And he thinks we're ignorant because we do.

  • firetyger

They can't afford to have an audit...because they are guilty.  I am just as pissed off as you that they managed to get the Senate to block the audit.  Obama speaks of transparency because it's what everyone wants to hear.  But when it comes down to it, they're just words to him that he never plans to act upon.  When Pelosi said that this Congress would be the most transparent, she didn't mean it.  She knew it was what people wanted to hear.  But obviously, she has no intention of letting people see what's really going on in the government.  This is why they will hand over complete control of our monetary system to the Federal Reserve, without an audit being performed to see how they've handled our money thus far.

Destruction of our economy is just the first step to these socialists.

  • antisoccermom

    These are scary times.

  • PreciousOnyx

Aggrivating. I wish we could all just march on DC and be done with it. Pelosi would be quite a sight all tarred and feathered...

  • saturnnights

Hope dashed again.  Not surprising either, unfortunately.  This should be a rally call for everyone that knows the agenda.  What are we going to do next?  Anyone?

  • ShamelesslyRed

@saturnnights - Store food, water, ammo--all essential supplies? Stop listening to the news, and prepare...pray

  • leadworshipper82@revelife

the thing is... i've learned... that if the state hold no accountability and they are free to run amok... then the state becomes a mutant monster...

and the REAL thing... take God out of the equation... and remove God from high office... the state is not in check and the state runs amok... and this becomes what the state does...

if we put the state underneath God's sovereignty... governments would run justly and morally and would work in the favor FOR the people as governments should do to serve, protect, and keep order for society to run smoothly...

for me... it's no surpise... once God is pushed out of the equation, it will only be time before the state becomes the mutant monster the forefathers have done to try to stop... funny how we strayed from this principle...

  • ShamelesslyRed

@leadworshipper82@revelife - Take God out of the equation, and you have nothing worth a hill of beans...well, maybe it's worth beans, but that's all

  • ShamelesslyRed

@antisoccermom - Yes, scary is an understatement imo. Nice to see you around December.

  • gnostic1

and with the Franken victory it'll just get worse.

  • leadworshipper82@revelife

@ShamelesslyRed - seriously just watch... when a government administration forsakes and removes God and His moral objectivity from legislative/executive/judicial oversight... the state becomes the moral administration... and when humanity w/o moral objectivty succumbs to their subjective ideals... and the state is in the hands of such subjective ideals... it will become ugly...

i'm no prophet nor do I have the gift of prophecy... but... just watch...

  • MyFreedomWings

Damnit. With all that support, too.

It is pretty obvious by this point, that there are influences against ANY scrap of positive change we could attempt to muster. I mean really, you'd have to be blind or not very informed to not see that.

*will keep on the look out for what Ron Paul'll have to say about all this*

I see another 'hippie movement' coming.

  • Lynnjynh9315

Enter the Federal Reserve- the organization is practically the Illuminati when it comes to secrecy....

  • ShamelesslyRed

@Lynnjynh9315 - not the illuminati--just bed mates with them

  • angryflower1

I just wonder how many politicians stays in their hotel of their choice will cost me? How many trips to the doctor has sacrificed my well being (because actually can't afford going to one)? If Americans doesn't care about what's going on, then we're living in a land of pussies. At least Iran, Honduras has the balls to denounce injustice even if they die for their cause. People today are more interested in spending three hours watching Michael Jackson's Gold Casket than getting involved in rallies and protests.

  • AnamcharaConcepts

It just keeps rolling downhill and very few care. The Federal Reserve is a joke of the highest order. The Messianic messengers from on high in Washington aren't being challenged by anyone so it will continue. People won't take up the fight until they lose everything we hold so dear, and then it will be too late. Loved the Orwellian icon. It fits.

  • Just_For_Shits_And_Giggles

@leadworshipper82@revelife - 1) What if I don't believe in God and don't want him forced on me through my government? 2) There are many countries that are running successfully without a God in their legal system.

P.S. I'm not trying to offend anyone. If anyone believes in God, that is totally not my business. I just feel the need to point out that there are people of many different beliefs in America.

  • inhislight07

It feels like such a twisted knot.  I don't even know where to begin it is so frusturating and it feels like so few care!!! We love Ron Paul and what he stands for, but I am afraid America is duped...drugged and stupid.

  • ShamelesslyRed

@Just_For_Shits_And_Giggles - what country do you know that is as great as America has been?

  • leadworshipper82@revelife

@saturnnights - nope... no gift just did an overview of history and history tends to repeat itself... with government and politics without God...

@Just_For_Shits_And_Giggles - i'm not saying the government forces God upon you... i'm saying the government must answer to God... so that the government can do what it's been established to do as far as the betterment of the society... just cuz you don't believe in God... doesn't mean that God isn't there... but what I am saying is that God Who holds moral objectivity and dictates what is good for people instilled via a governmental system... and that same system then takes away moral objectivity... you and I as the citizen will suffer royally... which means even your right to not want to believe in God will in some way be impeded because they you'll have to believe in the subjectivity of the state because it will be the subjectivity of the leaders you will be at the mercy of... and greedy leaders tend to be merciless... look at all the athiestic dictators who answered to noone but their ownselves... i'm sure you and I can agree that Stalin did what he believed was right by killing 1000000 of his OWN RUSSIANS... rather than understand that his role in governing Russia was given by God and not kill 1 million of his own citizens in totality... Pol Pot, Hitler, that Ugandan dictator etc... Godless leaders produce corrupt governments which threaten and harm people rather than help rule peacably and justly...

and with America... like I said... just watch... take moral objectivity out of the deal... you'll get a dictator in the long run...

@ShamelesslyRed - correct me if I'm wrong... isn't Obama trying to change the CONSTITUTION?  I'm kind of out of the newsloop due to no TV and not really caring what MSN or Yahoo or CNN.com is saying...

  • ShamelesslyRed

@leadworshipper82@revelife - I don't know that he's trying to change the constitution, but there's been talk of interpreting a living constitution. He negates it, violates it and has behaved as if it's not a document he swore an oath to

  • leadworshipper82@revelife

@ShamelesslyRed - interpreting a living constitution????  what does that mean?  like... it's not some age-old documented principle of legislative that roots our country to be the way it was instituted but that it should be... what?!

  • ProvokingThought

Greetings K.  As you may have noticed I have been on a unannounced break , taking advantage of the future postings feature.

I am not sure "mad as hell' completely captures my emotive response. In fact, I have been reflecting on just what it is I do "feel". As a analyst, I am trying not to be overly analytical, or read things into the equations that are missing factors to arrive at a causation.

I kind of equate it to a physician who sees symptoms but cant not make a proper diagnosis without further testing yet is confident enough to give some precautionary prescriptions prior to major surgery.

I am perplexed at the lack of reaction to everything that has taken place over the past four to six years in our country. These things would not have taken place when I was in college without riots breaking out on campuses and into the streets. To watch Pravda openly mock our education system and our financial situation and our lack of discipline/lack of intestinal fortitude as a people is humiliating when it is true, while the american media is handing out rose colored glasses and smiley faces while people drink from both parties vats of kool-aid.

Yet, I am heartened by a few things. True liberals and true conservatives are both rising up and refusing to play the party politic game and saying our country is at stake here. We have listened to both parties for two decades talk about a new world order with no questioning, just acceptance, many times because it was our team saying it.

When the government refuses to hold itself to account or constrain itself than it is no longer constitutional. I am not afraid, but I am perplexed and disgusted . I would never have believed that the american people would have taken this ...but how many have come to see the government itself as salvific and the answer to lifes problems ? We have done to ourselves what no enemy could have ever done. Well only one enemy....a defeated one.
