This entry is meant to provoke your critical thinking by illuminating facts ended with a question, and a hope that most of you will thrust yourselves forward into exploring what may indeed be a life or death matter. With current events in the world, we have choices to make. I believe you can only make them intelligently once you've had all the facts surrounding an issue. I rarely ask for a rec, but this is one of those times. It's my goal to share what we should all be informed about. An informed choice is the only sensible choice. Would you not agree? Now--on to the matter at hand.
Fact: Currently
the FDA has authorized the use of EUA's, which are Emergency Use Authorizations, for mandatory vaccinations for the swine flu. According to their own government page (link above) the EUA authority allows the FDA, based on the evaluation of available data, to authorize the use of
unapproved or uncleared medical products or
unapproved or uncleared uses of approved or cleared medical products following a determination and declaration of emergency, provided certain criteria are met. Those criteria have been met since the declaration of a pandemic alert 6 was issued by the World Health Organization this month. In addition, under the EUAs, both medications may be distributed to large segments of the population
without complying with the label requirements otherwise applicable to dispensed drugs, and accompanied by written information pertaining to the emergency use.
Fact: The last time there was a significant outbreak of a new form of swine flu in the U.S. it originated at
the army base at Fort Dix, New Jersey, but never materialized to any large degree thereafter. Hundreds of soldiers on the base, mostly recruits, were infected without becoming ill in 1976. President Gerald Ford immediately ordered a nationwide vaccination (link
here) program. More than 40 million people were vaccinated. However, the program was stopped short after over 500 cases of Guillain-Barre syndrome (
here) a severe paralyzing nerve disease, were reported. 30 people died as a direct result of the vaccinations.
Fact : The company that is mass producing these vaccines that can be used without clearing them through the FDA, or have not been approved, and without complying with labeled requirements, is the same pharmaceutical company that distributed
live avian flu virus in vaccines to 18 different countries in February 2009. The disinformation is overwhelming. While this incident was reported on around the world, not a single news cast here in our main media companies covered it. It should provoke you into asking "why not?". I wrote to 6 major news papers inquiring about why it was never reported on, and as of today, I have yet to receive a response from any of them. Other bloggers that I know have also written to major newspapers and news stations and requested coverage on this very disturbing, yet important public information, and none of them have had a response either.
This company has a horribly marked history of making tainted vaccine that would have killed millions had it been distributed successfully. Yet this is the same Baxter Pharmaceutical (
here) that is making vaccines to inject your children--your entire families.
Given this information, would you be willing to allow vaccinations for you and your family for this latest virus?

It dosen't surprise me... But I bet that when the company starts getting law suits for it doing more harm to people than swine flu... The FDA will be after them as well...
Once again... The government likes to "scare" people into trusting them so that they can get away with things like this...
@ImUrKarma - The ridiculous fact though is, that because of a federal law protecting vaccine manufacturers, when you consent for a vaccine, you are also consenting to a blanket waiver that holds zero liability against them should a vaccine harm you or a family member. They have total immunity, and very few are aware of this fact. I've met 10 who know outside of attny's I personally am aquainted with

We stopped vaccinating after my 7 year old had a severe reaction, my nephews had severe reactions to the SAME shot. I suspect now that my 8 year old is mildly autistic due to being immunized from birth on. My mother-in-law has Alzheimer's-they have discovered heavy concentrations of aluminum in the brains of those who die with Alzheimer's. They use aluminum in vaccinations. I'm currently battling my ex over the guardisil immunization they are starting to require in some states for teenagers-that is paralyzing young girls and only protects against 5 of the hundreds of HPV strains out there.

@ImUrKarma - The FDA actually backs these companies. The companies that create the immunizations support and contribute to campaigns. The FDA fast tracks immunizations after getting large donations. Investigate Monsanto. NOT a pretty thing.

This is not the first time the long arm of the Big Brother Obama Mania government has forced me to do horrible things in the name of public health and well being. Those bastards by doing this before ruined the health fields chances at making a buck by eliminating such capital oppurtunities as TB, Polio, and small pox. If I want a scared face, weakened immune system, and to cough up my lungs in a fit of bloody vile, THAT IS MY RIGHT!
In all seriousness though. Come on. Like the government cares enough to do mandatory vaccinations on people. We're struggling right now to get the government to even give basic health coverage to all Americans. The only time this will occur is if people are dying in great numbers due to the flu.

No... No way. I want more research done before using anything like this. The government will have to strap me down physically if they want to force it on me.
How can they MAKE you get a vaccination? Plus, who will pay for it? So many people can't afford health care . . . and wouldn't be able to pay for vaccines . . . what are they going to do, throw us in jail?
@jacksoncroons - When vaccines are made mandatory, they're provided free of charge, but under penalty of law (presidential order 13375) you can be fined 250,000.00 and imprisoned for not more than 1 yr if you refuse to comply with national emergency directives...which include vaccinations

@ShamelesslyRed - Really? Is this allowed through some special presidential power thing? I mean, do their need to be Congressional approval or something? This seems kind of insidious for one man . . . what about people who do not get vaccinated for medical reasons? I'm not being contrary (I hope you know, I'm just really blown away about how stuff like this can go on in the US) . . . This is just bizarre!
@jacksoncroons - you should be alarmed. For anyone to forcibly stick a needle in your arm under threat is patently wrong. But yes, presidential directives do allow for it. This is exactly why I'm posting this entry. People have the right to know who is supplying these drugs, and under what criteria.

In the Corps we were forced to get flu shots etc. Eventually I refused to take them. I could only get away with this because at the time I was senior enough to get away with it. I personally didn't like to get the after the vaccine for what we called the "Pohang Hack" killed someone. For the junior people it became their "appointed place of duty". The Corpsman would set up in a conference room and everyone would file through a unit at a time and get the shots.
I remember as a child getting my polio vaccine on a sugar cube. The parents all took us to appointed public locations to get it. I remember large crowds showing up. I don't remember if our names were checked off some list.
It just seems to me that if someone wanted to purposely kill off large portions of the population for evil reasons there would be far easier ways. Such as introducing something into the water or food suppy or even aerosol delivery over entire cities. It would have to be a large scale simultaneous exposure so that the damage would be done giving no chance for discovery or retaliation.
